Next Concert Sydney June 20 @ Blue Beat Double Bay

We are on! I’m going to launch my new album Not That Girl in Australia. By Wednesday 20 June I should be well and truly recovered from my broken ankle but I’m not sure I will be prancing around on stage in high heels…sneakers perhaps?

Can’t wait to be singing with some of my favourite Sydney specials: Sean MacKenzie (Keys) Miroslav Bukovsky (Flugel/ Trumpet) Gino Pengue (guitar) Peter Firth (bass) Nic Cecire (drums)

It’s never too early to book a table – in fact I would get in early since this is my first and last concert in Sydney for a long time before I get back home to Europe for upcoming concerts at Dean St, London and FNAC Paris.

Next Concert

Hiya everyone. FREYjA (that’s me!) is currently planting metaphors in her garden and focusing on her novel “Tilting the Doll” and her children’s books “Paris Bear”

The next FREYjA concert is at the end of June in Sydney Australia at the Blue Beat Club in Double Bay. After which FREYjA will return to Europe to sing at festivals and venues in Paris and London

Play New Album Not That Girl + more…

I have received a bunch of emails from you wondering when the actual CD of Not That Girl is being released. Fret not – You CAN BUY the entire album Not That Girl digitally, all 12 songs, via the album links on the right (itunes & amazon) BUT we have not been able to raise the capital yet to press & print it. The 16 page booklet is finished & it looks great. It includes a diary of the days in the studio & lots of snippets from the long recording process.

If anyone has any brilliant ideas then please let us know, how we can raise the dosh (£1000) so we can finally hold the CD itself in our hot little hands!

What’s happening 2011

A lot of people are asking me what’s blooming in my creative garden this year, 2011. So….

I am currently working on the album booklet artwork for Not That Girl. Yes you can buy it digitally online but soon the hard copy CD will be available too.

I am also focusing very hard on finishing my children’s book & my novel – what!? aha! you will see!

We do have some live stuff coming up in london this year including Pizza Express Soho (with Miroslav Bukovsky!?) & another Bull’s Head – but more of that later.
