I have received a bunch of emails from you wondering when the actual CD of Not That Girl is being released. Fret not – You CAN BUY the entire album Not That Girl digitally, all 12 songs, via the album links on the right (itunes & amazon) BUT we have not been able to raise the capital yet to press & print it. The 16 page booklet is finished & it looks great. It includes a diary of the days in the studio & lots of snippets from the long recording process.

If anyone has any brilliant ideas then please let us know, how we can raise the dosh (£1000) so we can finally hold the CD itself in our hot little hands!

I am currently working on the album booklet artwork for Not That Girl. Yes you can buy it digitally online but soon the hard copy CD will be available too.

I am also focusing very hard on finishing my children’s book & my novel – what!? aha! you will see!

We do have some live stuff coming up in london this year including Pizza Express Soho (with Miroslav Bukovsky!?) & another Bull’s Head – but more of that later.

Some kind of magic went down in that jam-packed room & I tell you, it would never have been so if it weren’t for the 6 imperative elements at work:

Master Antonio Forcione himself, what a wild spirit, with some direct golden-line-link to the source of the muse itself…Antonio arrived in UK many years ago, without speaking a word of English & cut his teeth on the toughest audience of all in the streets of Covent Garden. We met 12 years ago & always dreamt of playing my song The Magician together. Ah dreams come true, you see!

If it werent for Peter Dale’s relentless virtuosity, supportive heart….Jonny Gee’s unerring professionalism, humour & elegant groove….Alessandro Tomei’s fluid, musical grace & ever so handsome self….plus Paul Robinson’s flawless, sensitive, solid percussive presence – not to mention his charm! (To work with a man who had toured with Nina Simone herself for 20 years & then played with none other than Van Morrison – an honour indeed)

But the element which brings any performing artist the final ingredient required to inspire, is the audience. And you, my dears, were the creme-de la-creme as far as ‘punters’ go. Attentive, moved, appropriately amused & just so giving. I dont think you people in the audience realise where we performers draw our energy from. In fact it is a full circle & it would not have been such a night without you there in body & soul. Thank you all for coming & for your comments here in the guestbook. They move me no end along with your additions to my mailing list with which I have been inundated both here  & on my networks.
